Darkness is choking
Hard to see ahead
All the light has been soaked up
Your heart fills up with dread.
The stars are hidden behind the clouds
And the night drowns out the moon
You're afraid of what it might hold,
And you fear you'll be screaming quite soon.
But what's that little gleam of bright
Glowing in the grass
Everything will be quite all right
This darkness, too, shall pass. |
