i try to imagine what the person inside of me looks like.

on the outside I am strong, i create a shadow with my tall physique

but on the inside, I am small and I am weak

There is a creature that resides inside of me, creates a me I never asked to be

on the inside I am truly ugly

The creature i have created in my mind, takes over my body

I do the things I wish to do normally, but normally I'm just too scared to do them

and for good reason

the creature is my hate for all the things that hurt me as a child

this creature is a thing i have to keep from going wild!

it is the violence and the lu st inside of me

it's what makes you you, what makes me me, what makes us sinners

but is that so wrong?

when set free, the creature makes me feel alive!

I'll take a puff, I'll take a sip, my impressionable mind thinks it's OK

But I'll want the whole joint and I'll want the whole beer,

when my creature thinks i deserve it

it knows whats best for me, not my mama, not my daddy, but me and my creature

I can run, I can jump, I can fly if I try! I can scream!

When I set this creature free, I feel in control, I feel powerful

But I'm not
