Today I have learnt that there are many factors which determine how much fruit one could pick from a tree on any given day. Of these factors, anyone alone could name but a few. I myself, while I was laid alone thought of some: Perhaps the wind might be tiring, or the rain unbearable for some. Perhaps the one picking the fruit might be sick, or the tree itself might not bear any fruit. After I lay for a while and thought, I thought of many, very many. Then I realised that I could have gone on and on forever. This meant to me that harsh judgments should forever be omitted from anyone’s thoughts, because there are infinite scenarios that any one person could go through, and so therefore I could not judge how positive or negative the amount of fruit the one person had picked from the tree was. Friends, I am so sorry, may I ask for forgiveness if I had ever judged you.
