The mystical combination of horse and man is found throughout mythology. A
horse's body with a man's torso attached is the classic centaur coloring
page. Usually, centaurs are shown as kind animals who enjoy nature and a
bit of fun, and that is not too far from the truth. In actual mythology,
centaurs were wild creatures who were very defensive but did love a good
party. They kept to the woods where they often partied late into the night,
but if they caught an intruder, they were more like to trample him than
invite him into the festivities.
